Make Your Own Clothes
Sew your own clothes and you have a much wider selection of fabric than is available in clothing stores. Also you can adjust the fit of your garments to accommodate you. Cotton is the easiest fabric to learn how to sew on. Here in this store I carry Riley Blake Designs cotton fabrics. Inexpensive, colorfast, they can be given a pinked seam finish and the seams press open and stay flat.

What my customers are making

Learning How to Sew
Join the (link) American Sewing Guild. You will meet experienced seamstresses and quilters. Trying to learn sewing by watching YouTube videos is like trying to learn how to drive by reading the owners manual to your car. To learn sewing you really need a mentor. Some books I can recommend:
Dressmaking by Alison Smith
The Bishop Method of Clothing Construction by Edna Bryte Bishop
The Complete Book of Sewing Short Cuts by Claire B. Shaeffer

Shipping Policy
For Purchases of $74.99 and under, I charge $4.99 for shipping and handling. For purchases $75.00 and over, shipping is free. I use USPS Priority Flat Rate Mail. Because of Covid-19, the U.S. Postal Service has significant delays in their first class mail. To ensure timely delivery, I use the Priority Mail service. It costs more but the expedited service is worth it. I only serve the lower 48 states. I will send you a tracking number when the item is shipped.
No returns- All sales are Final
Unless there is a mistake or a shortage, I do not accept returns. All sales are final. Make sure you check your shopping cart for accuracy.

Here are links for products I don't stock. The prices offered by these stores and the quality of their offerings is something I can't match.
Wawak has a great selection of notions, scissors and pattern drafting aids.
Pam Erny's Fashion Sewing Supply sells the best in interfacing and interlining. Most of her interfacing is woven. Woven interfacing is the best for woven fabrics. The peplum garment above was interfaced with Pam's fusible interfacing.
